چکیده

In the context of intensive and sustainable agriculture, limiting soil degradation loss organic matter has become an obligation to maintain food security. The use organo-mineral fertilizer (OMF) products is innovative technology that may solve different challenges raised. This study aimed evaluate effect various formulations on Zea mays agro-physiological traits, phosphorus (P)-related parameters, water conservation during a 90-day pot experiment. OMF consisted blending several doses stable OMWS compost (10 t /ha(OMF1), 50 t/ha (OMF2), or 100 (OMF3)) with sources mineral P, namely diammonium phosphate (DAP), rock (RP), washing sludge (PWS), compared separate applications. results indicated plants was strongly dependent source P used dose compost. best agronomic performance attributed OMF1-based DAP, which resulted in significant improvement shoot root biomass dry weight by more than 260% 40%, respectively. However, using OMF2 formulation optimal when RP PWS as sources. Independently type fertilizer, addition OM systematically improved multiple properties, including availability, nutrient concentrations, such available exchangeable potassium, magnesium. Furthermore, plant’s respiration, photosynthetic activity, assimilations were positively affected formulations. Overall, our demonstrate fertilization promising solution for increasing efficiency low-P high-P fertilizers alkaline soils through direct indirect mechanisms involving properties higher solubilization.

Evaluation Effect of Vermicompost and Nano Iron on Agro-Physiological Traits of Corn (Zea mays L.)

In order to investigate the effect of vermicompost and Nano Iron on yield and yield components of maize, a farm experiment was done in a factorial based on completely randomized blocks design with three repetitions in Damavand in 2013. The first factor was vermicompost in two levels included no applying and applying (vermicompost 1kg.m-2) and the second factor was Nano iron fertilizer with four...

Plant Availability of Phosphorus in Sewage Sludge Compost

Field and greenhouse studies were conducted to compare the effectiveness of Blue Plains sewage sludge compost (BLU), Parkway sewage sludge compost (PAR), and triple superphosphate (TSP) as sources of P for corn. These amendments were applied to a Sassafras sandy loam (T> pic Hapludults) in a field study and to the Sassafras soil and a Christiana silty clay loam (Typic Paleudults) in a greenhous...

Phosphorus and Compost Management Influence Maize (Zea mays) Productivity Under Semiarid Condition with and without Phosphate Solubilizing Bacteria

Phosphorus (P) unavailability and lack of organic matter in the soils under semiarid climates are the two major constraints for low crop productivity. Field trial was conducted to study the effects of P levels, compost application times and seed inoculation with phosphate solubilizing bacteria (PSB) on the yield and yield components of maize (Zea mays L., cv. Azam). The experiment was conducted...

Effects of manure, municipal waste compost and nitrogen on weed communities in corn (Zea mays L.)

A two year field experiment was carried out to evaluate the effects of municipal waste compost (C), composted cattle manure (M), and nitrogen (N) on growth and composition of weeds in a corn field in Shiraz using a split-split plot design with 3 replicates. Visual inspection of the plots showed that the manure treatments neither introduced new weed species nor increased weed density more than t...
